Who is it for?
We accepted 16 applications from 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, and all applicants were be reviewed and selected by the Coding for a Cause committee. At this time, we are planning on accepting three projects.
When are submissions due?
Submissions are closed. The candidates' presence will be required at Rollins College Feb 11th and 12th, 2012.
How were projects selected?
We picked organizations based on how well they met these criteria:
Interviews with each organization’s representative were conducted to help the decision-making process.
What you will need to do.
If your organization is chosen we will ask you to provide the “content” (page content, images and media, logo) for the site in advance of DrupalCamp. We will assign a project manager to work with you to help guide you through the process - they will start working with you a few weeks before DrupalCamp and stay on the project until it is completed.
On Saturday of DrupalCamp (Feb 11th) there will be a final planning session for the C4aC participants that you must attend. On Sunday (Feb 12th) we will have a team of developers assigned to your project who along with you and your assigned project manager will complete your organization's website. If there are any open issues after Sunday your C4aC project manager will work with you to get them completed ASAP.
We will need your organization to provide branding / content - at least in a draft form - by Jan 28th, which is two weeks before DrupalCamp. Our goal is to have your site complete on Feb 12th or as soon as possible after that depending on available resources.
